Coleman's Original Calabash

Went for our 21st Anniversary!!! I had the sauteed scallops and rib eye and my husband had the shrimp and rib eye. It was the BOMB. The portions were huge. the steak was so tender. Loved the place. It was raining before we got there so couldn't sit outside but great view on the intracoastal waterway. Service was great too.

I was disappointed with the service and the food. It was okay but just okay. Asked for baked potato, got French fries. Fried scallops were somewhat tough. Tea and Cole slaw too sweet. Lacked ambience. Nice deck area tho. But it was okay. Just okay. Reasonable prices tho.

Everything is SOAKED in grease. They do not offer much healthy not fried options for sides, and they are VERY overpriced for the quality. The place seems clean and the people seem okay, but I will not be coming back ANYTIME soon.

Have eaten their for years. Great food shrimp, deviled crab fantastic friendly service.
