Fireside Coffee Lounge - Caerphilly

Opposite the police station this is,a cafe with cosy and comfy seating areas. Good range of food at decent prices. Staff were friendly and courteous. I'll definitely be coming back

Booked for 11 of us to have Sunday dinner 1pm. First meal came out at 1.15.....last meal came out at 1.55. Terrible service! The girls working there were lovely and polite and apologetic, but the service ward terrible. We had an upstairs room..... there were no lights on, no cutlery up there, we weren't asked if we wanted any sauces.... never again! Very very disappointed.

Great service received, my breakfast was delivered to my car outside, friendly staff and most of all a great tasting breakfast, Well done! Keep up the great work!!

I am a regular customer of Fireside, have been for years. I can only comment on the breakfast, because thats all i ever order, mostly for pick but i have sat in on times as well. I am a fan of a good cooked breakfast on the weekends and i have tried places throughout the Rhymney valleys and beyond over the years but i must say Fireside are my favorite bar no one, the breakfast is just exactly what you want! They do offer variations of a breakfast but i always have a large breakfast (2 of everything) sausage, bacon, egg, hash brown, beans (can also have tomato) mushrooms and black pudding with home made toast and i am never disappointed. Slight criticism could be that they can take some time to answer the phone on occasions but otherwise they never disappoint, food is always ready for me to pick up within 10 minutes of me calling and they serve breakfast way into the afternoon which is handy when nursing a hangover some times!

Go there all the time with friends, family or partner and its the top cafe in Bargoed by a mile! Food is always at least 9/10 and all the staff are super friendly and happy to help!
