The staff here are absolutely wonderful—extremely friendly and chatty, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. While the prices are a bit higher than your average local shop, it's worth it for the quality. You can truly taste the difference in the food. Even the Italian pasta is a step up compared to supermarket brands. Plus, the fresh fruit and vegetables are displayed outside, making it easy for kids to pick out their favorites (though that doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll eat them!). And again, I have to emphasize: the strawberries really are the best in Dublin!
