India House - Buena Park

I received my food for takeout only, but it was a few months ago, so I am not sure if the policy is still the same. The wait for the food was quite long, even though the estimated time was given, but the food was excellent. I ordered the butter chicken and it was delicious. I am looking forward to going back and getting it again. It is definitely worth the wait, or I would recommend calling ahead. This is quality food that is worth waiting for.

I have been to this restaurant a few times and have always enjoyed the food and friendly service. However, during my most recent visit, I experienced some issues with the ordering process. I had called ahead to place an order and was happy that it was ready for pick-up within 20-25 minutes. When I tried to do the same today at 11:30am, the restaurant did not answer my calls. I then placed an order online but the earliest pick-up time available was 12:45pm. After multiple attempts to call, I finally received a call confirming my order, but was told I had to wait until 12:15pm to pick it up. Despite being promised a text message when the food was ready, I never received one. Eventually, I went into the restaurant at 12:27pm to pick up my food. Overall, the wait time for carry out food was longer than expected and not ideal. Unfortunately, I may have to start looking for a new favorite Indian restaurant.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, and they serve generous portions. The staff member who took my order was incredibly friendly and provided excellent customer service. He was pleasant to talk to and I had a great experience. I will definitely be coming back for more.

This restaurant is almost a 5-star establishment (4.5 stars is probably more accurate) but it falls short of perfection. The food is fantastic, some of the best Indian cuisine I've had in a long time. The Saag Paneer could use some improvement as the paneer is not quite right and the spinach is overly reduced. However, the Biriyani is surprisingly delicious for a place that doesn't specialize in it. Make sure to order it spicy for maximum flavor. The basmati rice is also cooked perfectly. The only downside is that the food takes longer to prepare than expected, with an hour wait time even though you are quoted less. It would be helpful if the quoted time was more accurate, especially since the restaurant only offers takeout. Despite the wait, the value for the quality of the food is excellent. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant frequently.

I tried Indian food for the first time at this restaurant, and it was delicious! The service was excellent and the food was amazing. I have leftovers and I already want to go back for more of the garlic bread to go with it. The food is very tasty and you won't be disappointed with the price or cleanliness of the restaurant.
