House Of Joy Chomanwon - Buena Park

I've visited this restaurant several times, and each time I leave with a smile on my face. Although there is a language barrier, the staff makes a genuine effort to serve and communicate. The food is delicious! Their recommendations have consistently been spot on and tailored to my preferences. I particularly love the hot and spicy seafood soup, which I believe is called Jang. The tofu, however, was my least favorite dish; it was a bit bland for my taste. I think I'll request some additional seasonings next time, as I don't want to give up on it after just one try. I highly recommend experiencing this place for yourself, which is why I keep coming back.

We googled Chinese food and that's where we have. It is not Chinese food, but it is very delicious Korean food with some Chinese food choice. My child had Orange Chicken and my wife and I had noodle dishes. Excellent food, served quickly.

Very cozy for families and friends! Very tasty noodles and dumplings! Food came out quickly and we all ate it way too fast.

None of the dishes I ordered seemed fresh or appetizing. I initially ordered a chicken dish, but instead, I received pork. I didn't mind this at first, but once I tasted it, I realized the meat was old and dry. The waitress left me with the pork while she fetched another chicken dish. Later, an older woman came over and insisted that they take the pork dish back to the kitchen so they could report it to the manager, but I could already tell she was in charge. As I briefly wondered why she was so eager to reclaim the food, especially the sauce, I lost all desire to take the leftovers home.

This restaurant offers a decent selection of Korean-Chinese cuisine. Choosing a Korean spot in the Cerritos and Buena Park area can be a bit tricky, as it can feel reminiscent of Koreatown in Los Angeles. I keep returning here specifically for the Jjajangmyeon. It seems they've also changed their name recently.
