Time to revisit the Landgasthof Talhaus since a new chef and owner took over on Feb 1 2018. An full house and an extensive menu with new waiting staff could be a recipe for a challenge for the new team but must admit, you shouldn’t want to be rushed for enjoying a very nice surprise of dishes with great value for money in this part of the world. Very good vitello tonnato, and a Melazone with fresh Gamberini that I would expect at a seaside Osteria in Sicily rather than landlocked Bubendorf. The team still needs some breaking in and not all dishes were as impressive as my main course, but a locals we shall certainly return to sample more of the pasta delicacies in this new setup.
