Bidrage med feedbackIn this quaint little town, I had the best pizza I've had in years. They know how to make pizza right, loading it up with ample cheese and toppings instead of just bread! While other places prioritize their crust, Piccadilly Circus Pizza emphasizes what really matters: cheese, cheese, and more cheese. Absolutely delicious!
I stopped by hoping to grab a bite to eat, but aside from burgers and pizza, the choices were almost nonexistent. When I inquired about the chef salad, the young woman at the counter sighed and mentioned, "I have everything except the eggs." If she had suggested adding extra ham, I might have considered ordering it. Instead, I just shook my head and decided to leave.
This was the only place we could find that was open for food. Two lovely young women were working there, and they helped us with our choices and prepared our meals just the way we wanted. The food was good. It’s quite unique; the building actually resembles a convenience store but operates as a sit-down restaurant. Inside, there was a self-service bar, and attached was a small ice cream counter and souvenir shop. As a girl from the city, I found the whole experience to be a fascinating glimpse into a different culture, and I absolutely loved it.
We were driving through this part of Colorado and needed to have lunch. There are very few towns in this area and fewer restaurants. Piccadilly Circus Pizza was open so we stopped. We ordered cheeseburgers and were very pleasantly surprised at how good they were. I’m guessing they’re 1/2 lb, so they’re very good size. The fries were also very good. The cheeseburger costs $8.99. But given the size and overall quantity of good, this price is reasonable. The next time I’m in San Luis I’ll definitely stop at Piccadilly Circus Pizza.
