This restaurant offers some of the best food in the world. The dishes are absolutely incredible, especially the chicken, which is flavorful and delightful. The service is incredibly friendly, and the decor is reminiscent of Madeira itself.

I frequently find myself returning to this charming little restaurant, though I never know quite what to expect. The service is consistently excellent, the ambiance is often lively but can be unpredictable, and the food is always affordable and satisfactory, though the quality can vary. However, last night I had the most amazing espetada and chips, while my friend enjoyed a fantastic chicken peri-peri, all at an incredibly good price. We were served by one of the best waitresses I've encountered in years. Additionally, a bottle of Beyerskloof pinotage was marked up by less than 50%. The entire experience was impeccable.

This restaurant serves food that keeps me coming back time after time. The service is good, but even if it weren't, the delicious dishes would make it a hidden gem in Johannesburg. It has the vibe of Lisbon without the tourist crowds, allowing you to dine like a local.

This is one of those hidden gems really good, down to earth food at a good price with good, friendly service. We'll definitely be back soon!
