Xiang Hotpot Flushing - Broad Channel

The hostess was wonderful—friendly and very attentive. The location is convenient, just a short walk from the 7 train Flushing station. The food was decent, but you have to cook it yourself. Unfortunately, the service was quite poor. It was slow, unresponsive, and the staff was rarely present. I don’t think I can return because of the service issues. If you decide to visit, be prepared for painfully slow service. Get ready for the wait!

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant! The sour beef broth was fantastic, and pairing it with the A5 beef tongue was definitely the highlight of our evening. The service was exceptional; our server was attentive and quick to respond to our needs. We also enjoyed the atmosphere; the combination of authentic vintage decor with modern lighting created a unique vibe. Overall, we really loved this place and will definitely return if we find ourselves in Flushing again!

This restaurant is quite spacious, with plenty of tables available. During our visit, we noticed some tables in separate rooms hosting birthday parties. We chose two different soup bases: Beef and Tomato. You can customize the spice level according to your preference; we opted for mild spiciness for the beef broth, which included a bear-shaped sauce base. However, it ended up being too spicy for me, although my friends really enjoyed it. The portions of vegetables and meats were generous, so be careful not to overorder. Overall, the food was excellent, and the staff was very friendly as well!

I had an amazing experience at this authentic Chinese hot pot restaurant! I traveled all the way from Seattle to try it, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. The service was top-notch, with an excellent attitude from the staff. I truly loved the variety of meats and the beautifully presented dishes. We can never get enough of hot pots!

This was our first time trying hot pot, and I realized that we might have been adding all the ingredients at once, which isn’t how it’s usually done. However, our overall experience was outstanding—11 out of 10! It was fantastic. When I accidentally spilled some water, staff members quickly surrounded me with napkins and helped in a non-intrusive way, which I truly appreciated. When the large ladle fell into the hot pot, our waiter immediately appeared with a napkin and kindly warned us not to touch it, as it was extremely hot. He was incredibly attentive and respectful. The food was delicious; everything was fresh and packed with flavor. I would love the opportunity to return here and highly recommend this place!
