Bidrage med feedbackThere are about 15 different stands, each offering something unique. You’ll find 3-4 tea vendors, several hand-pulled noodle shops, Chinese BBQ, a Japanese eatery, and places serving authentic Chinese family meals. I was surprised to not see any stands offering soup dumplings, but if you’re looking for dumplings, Fu Zi Dumpling is your best bet. Although they don’t speak English (they only provide a menu in English to select customers), this spot has become quite popular, attracting many for its wide variety of moist, delicious dumplings. Despite a longer wait than I anticipated, it was well worth it. The pork and cabbage dumplings were fantastic—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection at an affordable price. They paired nicely with their freshly made iced tea. For your noodle and meat cravings, don’t miss Lu Taste, located conveniently near the restrooms. The girl behind the counter is super friendly and enjoys chatting with customers. Although it isn’t the busiest stall, the food is delightful. I highly recommend the #4, which features meat sauce ramen with fresh vegetables, herbs, and thick noodles for just $6. When it comes to homestyle Chinese meals, Guchun Private Kitchen is the place to go. They offer all the traditional favorites along with some innovative dishes I’d never encountered before, like spicy beef with sliced pancake. This dish was complex but delicious, and they serve their soups and other meals in bowls that resemble those you'd find in a Korean restaurant! For authentic hand-pulled noodles, head to Lanzhou Hand Pulled Noodles. While it may not be the same chain as in New World Mall, the quality is just as good. They don’t speak any English, so be prepared to point and gesture when placing your order. It’s a budget-friendly spot that delivers great value for your money. I recommend the duck noodle soup, which is rich and flavorful, and they also offer other standout options like clam noodle soup, innards noodle soup, and mixed seafood noodle soup. Lastly, for your bubble tea and juice cravings, stop by Happy Lemon. This charming spot has a cute logo and takes health seriously, with staff wearing clear masks. The prices are very reasonable for the portion size. I ordered the milk bubble tea, which tasted like a mix of 75% milk, 20% coffee, and 5% other flavors. It was delicious, and the bubbles added a fun texture. Plus, the service was quick.
I enjoyed a delicious pastry for just $1.60, and they accept card payments.
The employees here bake all morning and serve throughout the day, and their positive attitudes really shine through! The coffee and desserts were outstanding and fresh. I’ll definitely be returning. I truly appreciate the hard work and friendliness of these talented bakers!
Went here quickly to get some bread to snack on, but there was a limited assortment of bread despite it being 4pm. I bought a coconut cream bun for around $1.55, which is a typical price for buns in Flushing. The bun, however, was very dry and left a weird after taste in my mouth. Would probably come here again, but not get the coconut cream bun.
When walking by, the sign was blocked, so it just said xin bakery. In any case, we were pleasantly surprised by their selection in such a small bakery. They had two kinds of hot dog buns (1) rolled the long way and (2) shaped in like a four petal flower with four hot dog pieces. The hot dog was yummy enough, but the milk bun was on the dryer side. Even so, we were elated since this was the 5th bakery we visited looking for these (New Flushing, Rainbow, Star, and Fa Da did not have any). So again, 4 stars for even having these buns!
