If your good for a great American breakfast where locals eat then this the place. Hours are limited to 5:30 am to 1:30 pm so get there early enough and bring an appetite.

After years of eating at this small but charming establishment, I am finally sitting down to write my experiences patronizing one of Bristol's best. Open only for breakfast and lunch (I think they close at 2pm), I have never had a bad meal here. I usually go for the breakfasts, as they have the best creamed chipped beef. The scrapple is cooked to perfection. The menu is not large, but that is what one would expect from a small establishment that has been there for decades, and knows what people want. It is always crowded, but the tables turn quickly, so there is rarely an instance for waiting. In order to keep their low prices stable they do not accept credit cards, only cash, which is becoming the norm for many small businesses, and is understood. The wait staff are prompt, friendly and ensures that your coffee cup is hot and refilled. Is one of my favorites spots that I bring along new customers to enjoy what I have for years....
