The Priory - Bristol

The restaurant is large and roomy but can get a little noisy. The food is excellent, but the service can be a bit slow during peak hours. Overall, it is a great place to enjoy a meal.

My daughter's 30th birthday was celebrated at this restaurant and the overall experience was excellent. The service was very good.

We had a 1 1/2 hour time slot to enjoy a three-course Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The food came out very quickly, which was a positive point. The Lobster and Prawn Cocktail starter was a nice size and tasty, but it was a bit drowned in rose marie sauce. The roast beef for two adults and one child was very nice, with a good helping of Yorkshire pudding and well-cooked veggies (cabbage, carrots, and parsnips). The meat was also good and plentiful. I would have liked more gravy, but I forgot to ask for it when the food was delivered, and the server was too busy to reappear. The only small issue was that we didn't have time for pudding as we had only 15 minutes left before we had to leave the table. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and thank the restaurant for their hospitality.

Very nice food all served up by a very friendly team in very nice surroundings.
