Hermosa - Brisbane

Very disappointing. Ordered 3 tapas and a main spanner crab to share. Meatballs were microwaved and not for long enough leaving a furry feeling in the top of our mouths. Spanner crab tasted liked canned crab meat and was accompanied with leathery skinny eggplants and mixed in with every green leafed herb in season including mint - very odd and very small plate of food. Arranchini balls were ok but again microwaved but not for long enough and were cold. Swordfish was ok but accompanied with what looked/tasted like chunky cashew and pumpkin dip from the supermarket which ruined the whole plate. Overall, extremely disappointed with our meals. With so much competition around it I'd recommend giving this place a miss

Best part of the meals were the drinks. Ordered pealla bombas which sounded delicious...bland. Empanadas...bland and the spinach and ricotta gnudi...bland. My wife's spaghetti made for our children has more flavour. Reasonable service and food was served quickly but I wouldn't bother coming back, seems like none of the food was seasoned!!

Had a delicious lunch with a friend. After sitting down and given water we waited half an hour to place orders and had to actually ask our waitress if we could order (there was only 4 or so other tables taken). But the 4 tapas came out extremely quick. The calamari was amazing, and croquettes delicious. All in all a lovely dining experience.

We were excited to try one of the many new restaurants at Chermside.

I was excited to have a Spanish place close to home, I used to live there and love Spanish flavours.
