Beck's Bistro - Bremen

We called into this restaurant a number of times during our recent visit to Bremen. It is ideally situated to sit and have a drink and watch the world go buy and equally good for lunch or dinner. Well worth a visit (or two).

Good steak. Perfect view ald location. Only point to improve was that win was to warm. I recommend this restaurant.

Le jeune serveur parlait français. C'était bon. Ce n'est pas très cher. Nous avons bien aimé. Pas mal pour manger un soir rapidement.

Across the street from the Ratskeller, it was our second choice when our first choice was fully booked. We had grilled salmon and boiled potatoes, just right for our first night in Germany.

Be warned! Central location, looks nice on the square and offer nice food... BUT the staff were very rude, they ignored us several times and treated us badly. We noticed the same for others English groups around us. The worst thing is they tried to rip us off with the bill. The lady came and asked for 22,80 euro for 2 coffees and 2 cakes!! I already checked the prices on the menu so asked for a receipt and she walked away yelling and moaning in German, then came back with the receipt: 11,80 euro!! So half the price!Stay away from this place
