At Continental - BRECKENRIDGE

The Continental was a large establishment, boasting a dedicated staff and plenty of space to accommodate a large number of patrons. Its vintage theme served as a charming nod to retro American classics, infused with a modern twist. I fondly recall numerous brunches there, along with delightful salad sandwiches during lunch with colleagues and friends, creating enjoyable memories each time. It was one of the few places where you could enjoy a resort-style meal without being in a casino. I'll always remember their delicious lobster mac and cheese, which featured a delightful blend of cheeses and orzo, making it a fun dish to savor. The French onion soup dumplings were also a hit, along with their burgers and short rib sandwich. While prices were not the cheapest, they were still more affordable than many other dining options in the area. The customer service was consistently excellent, and the entire venue, including the restrooms, was always kept clean! Only time will tell what the future holds for this space. With The Playground recently purchased by Caesars, I anticipate some renovations are on the way. Here’s hoping that something just as good, if not better, will take its place!

We like to go to the outlet stores in AC. After four hours of shopping we look for a good place for lunch. After cutting through the casino to reach the pier we had several places to choose from. We decided on the Continental because of the open dining area and the view. One thing, they sit you in the pit with a fire burning on a day when it was 90 dogs outside. Did not need the extra heat. Service was good. Our server made good suggestions and they both turned out great.

Love the ambience at this restaurant. So much to explore and very modern. The service was great and our waitress was very friendly. We had to change our reservation about three times and they ended up memorizing my number, but they didn't give us a hard time about it. The drinks were delicious and perfectly made as requested. The food was also delicious and made to perfection.

Beautiful space....and omg they have a fire pit out front. Menus are very chic. I was concerned with wether or not the food would be good because the options were so diverse but dissatisfied I was not. My friend and I ordered the huevos rancheros and the chicken and waffles. The rancheros were delicious...tostadas weren't soggy. The chicken and waffles were divine....chicken seasoned perfectly with tons of flavor. I also had their chocolate martini (don't remember the actual name). We also had a friend that is a vegan and they were great and customizing the quinoa tabbouleh salad to make it vegan and added hummus for her.

For drinks, we ordered two Mimosas and two Astronaut cocktails. Wow, for just $11, you get three glasses from the shaker! This cocktail was both impressive and delicious. We also had regular and decaf coffee. As for brunch, the Big Bang dish was a big hit at our table. I had the steak and eggs, cooked medium-well with sunny-side-up eggs and white toast. I must say, their A2 sauce was even better than the classic A1 steak sauce—what a pleasant surprise! Our server cleared the table and brought over a complimentary treat reminiscent of Buddakan’s offering—an identical chocolate cake! Overall, it was a delightful brunch spot!
