Chen Seafood - Breaux Bridge

This place offers the best fried chicken you'll find anywhere. Many might mistake it for just a Chinese takeout spot, and while the Chinese food scores only two stars, the fried chicken deserves a full five stars. The shrimp po'boy is massive and absolutely delicious—it's enough for two meals! You definitely won't be disappointed. The service can be a bit slow, but I prefer my food to be served hot.

On my second visit, I opted for the fish plate. While the fish was again perfectly fried and the portions were substantial, the flavor was still disappointing and bland. By my third visit, I wanted to try a classic Chinese dish: General Tso's chicken with a side of fried rice. Sadly, both were nearly inedible. The chicken was extremely dry, tough, and overcooked to the point where I could barely chew it. The fried rice had no vegetables at all and only three tiny shrimp, with absolutely no seasoning present. Overall, this experience was truly disappointing. I definitely won’t be returning!

I love the food offered here. I always have so many choices. The owners are A+ with an always friendly welcome and helpful attitude. Great service and hot food.

This restaurant offers incredibly low-quality Chinese food, featuring questionable meat and overly sweet sauces that mask the flavor. The shrimp is sourced from Ecuador, and they don’t even remove the veins. It's quite unappetizing. I definitely won’t be spending my money there again.

Everytime my husband and I take a trip to Breaux Bridge we gotta order out at Chen Seafood. There food is so good and they always serve good sized portions so you really bang for your buck. Their customer service is great and their timing to get everything ready is pretty adequate. We'd recommend Chen Seafood 100%.
