Beautiful meal, friendly staff, great wine list, open fire fabulous catch up with friends

Great Sunday dinner. all had the faint that was tender and tasty. perfectly cooked vegetables. I'm always hesitant to roast away from home, but that's the best I can remember. it is not the cheapest, but they pay for quality. hopefully, the new owners and the team are able to get it a success as plan.

Amazing eating. had the black pudding and stabbed eierstarter. roast sirloin pornstar and rhubarb, ingwer and hazelnut crumble for dessert. all on all 3 of my plates was delicious, already this place was recommended to my colleagues!

A long time favorit, have visited over the years, back to the original building! eat as well as ever. my stepmother enjoyed it will be our meeting point for lunch from now on. See you soon!

Re opened, refurbished and back with a bang! A classic thatched country pub which has been lovingly and sympathetically restored to more than its former glory, with new owners and new management. It now features a wonderful and sizeable pub garden with stunning views over the Cambridgeshire countryside with the quaint addition of Highland Cows who seem to enjoy watching the customers! Having been for drinks and food now on a couple of occasions, the menu is sophisticated, tasty with plenty of variety. If you're enjoying a drink in the garden, for nibbles, I highly recommend the cheese fritters they compliment a cool glass of Prosecco perfectly. There is an extensive wine list and a selection of cocktails on offer. Inside the pub, it's all olde world charm but with a modern twist and as much I love the warm weather, I almost can't wait to see a roaring fire in the two fireplaces! The staff are friendly and welcoming it's the sort of pub I'd be happy to go into on my own for a light lunch or just a drink. I can't wait to try their Sunday lunch which I've heard good things about already from those who have been! Considering it's a whole new team of people, the service understandably was a little bit slow as they were learning the ropes. However, on my last visit, I was impressed by how much slicker it was they're obviously fast learners. Can't wait to go back and support this quality pub/restaurant.
