Boylston Deli Cafe Catering

I have lived around this area my whole life and always thought it looked like such a cute place to grab a sandwich! I finally made it in and it definitely exceeded my expectations! Rob and his wife were so friendly and personable and I highly recommend the veggie melt sandwich that I ordered! It was absolutely delicious! This spot is so quaint and cozy; it reminds me of something out of a Hallmark movie. I definitely recommend stopping in; you will not be disappointed!

Hands down the worst Deli I’ve been to in Worcester County! My wife ordered the Chicken Parm and it was very dry, I ordered the Corleone and that was just okay. I had my daughter with me and pointed to her saying she wanted a grilled cheese sandwich I spoke very clear English, unless they had brain fog they clearly heard me and forgot. Read other reviews how it takes them way too long just to make a couple sandwiches like a half hour or more. We come home to discover my daughter has no food. That’s not even the worst of it, the young uppity white lady with glasses taking my order was extremely rude and prejudice. She clearly has a bias against Italians because she constantly accentuated words in her dialogue that rhymed with Guinea (In case you didn’t know Guinea is a very derogatory ethnic slur against Italians. She did not treat me as an equal from the get go yet I was very polite and neutral with her so that was very uncalled for and such a degrading experience. Especially working at a Deli where the food is inspired by Italians and Jewish Americans you would think to treat us equally because that’s your line of work, but she truly felt she was superior to me and never felt so uncomfortable. I called later to complain and that rude, prejudice treatment still continued they did not care about us and how they screwed up the order! Food for thought to that worker: There is no such thing as a superior white ethnic group over another, lose the superiority complex and learn to treat everybody as an equal!! This is the problem with Covid nowadays, the virus is not the problem, it’s peoples hatred and prejudice that is the problem! I will be getting the Better Business Bureau involved we are beyond disgusted!

This is a cute local cafe with a large menu and a nice pleasant vibe. I had the chicken salad and it was really good with some outstanding bread for the sandwich. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in town! Plus it’s next to the town’s common which is beautiful, especially in the fall (I recommend getting food to go from here and eating it in the park).

Happened upon this little treasure when looking for a quick bite in Boylston! Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS, and the service was absolutely wonderful!Will definitely be coming back when I’m in the area!!

I visited this restaurant with my mom and son while passing through town, and we were really hungry! We both ordered turkey sandwiches with bacon on a bulkie roll, and they were absolutely delicious! We definitely plan to come back! Regarding kid-friendliness, my son felt very welcomed, and everyone was really kind to him.
