Champions - Boston

Champions is a great spot for casual dining with a sports bar atmosphere. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and it was a fantastic value for a meal in the bustling Copley area.

I went to the restaurant for game #7 between the Celtics and Cavs. The atmosphere was electric! It was a fantastic night.

We made a reservation for 6. We were never informed that an 18% autograt would be added to the bill. We went in to watch the NBA Finals but where we were seated we couldn't really hear the broadcast feed. We were in one of the back rooms as opposed to the main room. While we had a large screen TV right at our table, it would have been nice to also hear the commentary. The food was good. Lots of choices. We had appetizers and dinner and I have no complaints on temperature or taste of the food. Once the place filled up for the basketball game service was painfully slow. We had to flag down our waitress to order each time. At the end, we wanted the bill split in 2. This seemed to be an issue. I'm not certain exactly what it was but the waitress did mention it had to do with the 18% autograt. Overall I would return if I was in a smaller group and not to watch a major sporting event.

This is a very good spot to stop for lunch within the Copley Place. The service is excellent, and I had one of the tastiest burgers I've had in a long time (accompanied by very tasty hand-made chips). And the price is right!
