Albergo Da Ranella - BOBBIO

One of those local, traditional restaurants where you can eat very well, for a fair price, in a very informal setting. I was overwhelmed by the antipasto della casa, I loved the pizza and was impressed by the local wine said to follow the tradition of the San Colombano monks. The restaurant is a bit noicy in the weekend, with many local families and maybe also groups of hunters. But all that adds to the atmosphere. You usually eat inside, but there are a few tables outside. Group accomodation available. The hotel is okay, a bit noisy (I had the pleasure to share it with a group of hunters) and with a very nice balcony and view on the valley. Fair price as well accomodation for not too demanding travellers is good especially combined with the restaurant

Very local genuine food. Family business, really friendly and professional. I strongly recommend this place just for a dinner or a couple of nights in the hotel.
