Taqueria Mammy Chayo - Blue Island

I had the worst tacos I've ever tasted at this place. They clearly don’t know how to follow instructions. Overall, this restaurant is terrible. The tacos were greasy, the food was messy, and the service was awful. Food rating: 1/5.

I was feeling a bit tipsy and came across this taco restaurant on DoorDash. I ordered a beef taco, a steak taco, and a shrimp taco, along with some rice. Unfortunately, the rice was greasy and not good at all. The steak taco was tough and overcooked, and the shrimp taco suffered from the same issue. On the bright side, the beef taco was quite tasty. I just wish I had checked the reviews beforehand to avoid this place. Overall, I’d rate the food a 2 out of 5.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The carne asada tasted absolutely terrible, almost like dog food. It was incredibly salty – I wouldn’t even feed it to my poor dog, Bruno! On top of that, the staff didn't seem clean at all. I also doubt they’re actually from Jalisco. To make matters worse, I think I might have gotten the stomach flu after eating there; it was that bad. I’m definitely going to report this unsatisfactory place to the health inspectors.

My tacos were greasy and the tortillas was hard the meat was very salty and the green salsa tasted spoiled.

This place is horrible, the food is disgusting and Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. I tried this place for the first time i’ll order it three steak tacos but that’s not what I got. I really don’t know what type of meat they put on my tacos so I went back for a refund in the police was called because I had already left the building with the food they would not give me a refund horrible save your money do not go.
