I visited this restaurant for the first time during my lunch break, and it was a great experience. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. Overall, I would rate it a perfect 5 for food, service, and atmosphere!

During our visit to my grandparents' old house in Blue Island, a local resident of 20 years recommended this taqueria, claiming it to be the third best in all of Chicago (after places on 47th and 18th Streets). We wholeheartedly agree! What a fantastic find! We absolutely love sopes, which are hard to come by in Southern California, and these were the BEST we've ever had. The service was quick, too. We even ordered tacos to go for my mother-in-law, and the total cost for lunch for the three of us was under $20! Incredible! This was definitely the highlight of our trip. We'll definitely be back!

Terrible experience. I ordered enchiladas and as I began to eat, I discovered green spots of mold all over the tortillas. When I called the restaurant, they asked me to bring them back and insisted it wasn’t mold—claiming it was paint instead. They only offered me credit or a replacement, but no refund. I will never return.

In my opinion, this restaurant doesn’t deserve any of the reviews under two stars. The food is quite good—not extraordinary, but better than average. It’s definitely authentic, unless you specifically ask for an American-style option. The service was standard, and the restaurant itself is spacious, clean, and offers plenty of parking. The prices are also quite reasonable. I honestly have no complaints, but I wouldn’t say there’s anything to rave about either. However, the fact that I would return here is a testament to its overall quality.
