Keep the great food after renovation, just a little bit pricy, but i think it worth the money

Really good Japanese bakery! I really enjoy stopping by for onigiri (makes a good snack). Their melon pan is amazing! The cookies is still crispy, while the bread itself is super soft, not too sweet! I've also enjoyed the curry bread, but I recommend heating it up before enjoying. Their hours can feel a touch wonky since they're only open half a week and it's a small place so it can get cramped. The prices can feel high, but I think the quality makes up for it (and the fact that it's hard to find other places selling Japanese pastries around here). Overall highly recommend!

We had a great experience visiting japonaise bakery and cafe! we got different pastries to try, but my favorite was the totoro bun. with the chocolate filling it is absolutely unbeatable. the girl who helped us with our order at the counter was very nice and made some recommendations when a few of the things we wanted were sold out.

Very qute Asian bakery. The pastries are very delicious

Overrated. Everything is obscenely overpriced and they rarely have anything in stock, so it's a chore to buy anything. The baked goods are good, but nothing special. Not sure if it's worth the hype (though, it is the Boston area, and there's not much good food here, especially baked goods).
