Cherry Tree Chippy

I had a great experience at the Local Chippy. The young man working there was very efficient at taking orders, and our food was always nice. The chips were particularly delicious. However, I found the fish to be odd, tasteless, and thick, possibly indicating that it was frozen. The batter was overly cooked. Despite this, I plan on visiting regularly, but I will be avoiding the fish supper.

We couldn't decide what to have for dinner, so we chose to get takeout from our favorite Chinese restaurant. We ordered sweet and sour chicken with a side of half rice and half chips. The portions were generous as always, and the service was very fast. The food was delicious as well.

I tried some food from this restaurant, including some chips and Chinese dishes. Everything was okay and I plan on returning. My kids really enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken and the salt and pepper wings.

Called in one Saturday night for tea, very friendly fast service, plenty of choice on the menu from Chinese to English dishes. The chippy was busy so goes to show how good it is. Will definitely be calling again.

We visited very close to closing time and the staff couldn't be more accommodating. The premises were exceptionally clean, the chips were fresh crisp and delicious and the haddock served was incredibly tender. Also portions were generous and good value. Highly recommended! Well done Hollytree!
