Restaurant Hellas - Bitburg

Our visit on Friday was rewarded! eating was supi, service very nice and despite the many business came our eating backpack on the table. great!

The retsina is divine! This is a family run restaurant with an enthusiastic approach to traditional greek cookery. True portion sizes are massively german and salad is more of a garnish but the flavour is wonderful.The interesting feature is to use a mixture of feta and edam for gratins. It sounds strange but tastes wonderful. The food is good. Portions are massively german as one would expect in Germany but well cooked and flavoured. Serivce is traditional Greek, usually the same day - actually very attentive but not intrusive.Well worth a visit to remind you why the Greek Island are preferable to small german towns.

Service is nice and the load has been there since an eternality, but the load and terrace are unfortunately very old fashioned and very taken along. I can only say one thing to eat. who likes to eat out of the dose, ready to bite and dry meat is well removed there. even the large part of the overpriced salatable consists of vegetables of glasses and doses. it's like a little lazy. for this qualtityis the eating correspond overpriced. I don't understand why the load is still there. I noticed that the owner is drunk every night, which is very unprofessional. therefore that the owner is Greek I can only assume that Greek reconciliations are very disappointed when they are only gloomy.

We have had Hellas several times and the food is good but not great. Once every two months we will order the food to go. I have not eaten in the restaurant but when I pick up the food I think the inside needs to...be updated. The place could use a deep cleaning, not to say it is dirty and I wouldn't eat there but it has seen better days. If you really want Greek food go for it, I don't think you will be disappointed but there are several better restaurants in the area
