Carrigan's Beer Garden - Birmingham

Carrigan’s beer garden is one of my favorite spots to hang out with friends. We enjoy trying various types of beers and grabbing some snacks and meals. The food menu is decent, featuring some German-inspired options like bratwurst and pretzels. Their selection of beers on tap is exceptional, and they also offer a variety of canned beers. What we love most is the ambiance—the indoor and outdoor spaces are cozy, making it suitable for both small gatherings and larger groups. You can place your order at the table using your phone, and your beer will magically appear in your hand within three minutes! While there is a small parking lot, you can easily find street parking nearby or around the block.

This is a fantastic spot to relax with friends. The Cahaba Blonde beer, which is local to Alabama, was outstanding—light and crisp. The food was also delicious. Plus, there's plenty of outdoor space where you can play Ping Pong!

Went for the Garden Party, and it w spectacular. A lot of cool people and great performances. The food was delicious, and the service was good. I just felt like some things could be streamlined at the bar to make a slightly better experience. Overall, though, a great experience and great time.

Food and atmosphere were great! But the service absolutely ruined it. Our waiter was SO rude. We got something wrong and said “oh excuse me” and he started walking off while we were talking so I spoke up and said “excuse me sir??” And he turned around and said “yeah what”And I told him I ordered something different and he grabbed it and said as sarcastically as he could while rolling his eyes “well that’s just great isn’t it whatever” and took it and stormed off. He continued to do this to everyone at the table when we asked for water and silverware. He was extremely rude.

I actually like the atmosphere and aesthetic of the place. Personally, I wish they had more drink options and better microbrew drink options. Overall it was a decent experience going there with two of my friends on a Friday night.
