El Pulpo - Binghamton

I would have preferred to eat at home if I wanted microwave meals. The food was terrible, as everything seemed to be precooked and then reheated in the microwave. It was unpleasant. The restaurant should prepare the food fresh, as I'm sure they would attract more customers. Additionally, the uniforms were unattractive. Overall rating for this dinner experience: Food 1, Service 5, Atmosphere 1. Cost per person: $50-100.

We have been frequenting El Pulpo for many years and always have a wonderful experience. Tonight, we were joined by some family members from out of town and were impressed by the outstanding food and service. Despite two large parties in the dining area, the service was prompt and the food was hot and prepared with care. Our two young children, ages 1 and 3, were well taken care of - with the 3 year old receiving their dish first and the 1 year old's dish served slightly cooled on a suitable plate. El Pulpo is a fantastic local spot for delicious Mexican cuisine at an affordable price, all in a family-friendly atmosphere. We couldn't ask for more. Thank you!

My friend and I decided to try to order a couple of drinks from the drive-thru, but the woman who took our order was extremely rude and disrespectful. She lacked proper customer service skills, so we left the restaurant feeling very upset. Service: 1/5

Do you need atmosphere if you have great food? The service is friendly and efficient. But the food is the star of the show. I grew up in Colorado and my family still lives there and they rave about El Pulpo.
