Castello - Bielefeld

After we were part of a meeting with my work, where we went to düsseldorf and came completely randomly on castello. it offered Greek food and I and my colleagues decided to try. the restaurant looks down to conventional comfortable inviting. but definity not nouveaux kitchen or posh. the service also friendly welcoming, but up to earth. we looked at the menu and the selection was good with a good meat selection as well as two vegetarian main dish options. we men) ordered the main meal with a small starter and an salar. we didn't want to know what was supposed to happen. as part of the main meal we had great starter plate it was nice, an salat fresh and light, another hearty pastry wonderful and with our main meal came a side of sweet boiled to perfection. the it was for our group who had worked so hard to eat a little good food (but much for us to finish). and then the bill that came for people with drinks to a little more than euro very good value. we enjoyed it so much that we wondered if we could plan our next business trip in this restaurant. what do they find?

As well as other greek little appetizers are served. the main dishes, especially the lamb chops were very delicious. friendly service without weakening.

Super eating and ambiente. very recommended for couples to eat romantic. bark and lamb were super delicious.

We enjoyed being able to sit on the terrace that is narrow so that we had no one next to us. for bielefeld the terrace has an urban flair. the service was consistently friendly. ordering was quickly recorded. gyros can't find what I liked on the map. However, many dishes were found with a mushroom sauce - as I am not a known Greek cuisine, I cannot judge how original this is. the appetizers were rich and tasted very well. we had different dishes as main food and none of us had anything to complain about. the portions are large.

With a larger group of colleagues we visited the restaurant with reservation in the januar. I wasn't excited about this decision, because I haven't been told much good about it so far. But now I have made myself a picture.Our group of approx. 35 people were probably only to place on two long tables. a pity, maybe it wasn't different. Ambiente and atmosphere I have already seen in other Greek restaurant.I had ordered a starter, not knowing that a starter plate was added to the start. abundantly covered with various delicacies. I'm afraid everything's cold. fried aubergine slices for example taste warm better. ok, is a matter of taste.The menu is clear and pricey in the middle area.After a certain time - not too early, we wanted to entertain ourselves – the various a-la-card ordered main dishes were quickly brought together to the tables. I was very pleasantly surprised. all dishes, whether with pig, bark or fish, were as I could see it prepared at the right point. the tellers were beautifully dressed, the portion was really not too small. it tasted very good to me.I will probably visit the restaurant again privately.
