Yojisan - Beverly Hills

We live in Hawaii and know sushi as it is our favorite food. When we return to Los AngelesBeverlyHills which we do regularly, Yogisan is always one of our first restaurant picks. The food is alwaysdelicious, fresh and creative....however, on this experience, Yogi wasn't behind the sushi bar our favorite way to eat sushi with the chef...and the chef who was behind the bar said one word to us:Hello. That's it. Our order was taken by the restaurant's excellent staff helpful and efficient. But,for us dining with a chef that can make recommendations and conversation is what sushi diningis all about. This was a BIG disappointment to us. It took the fun out of dining there. This spot is neverreally very busy as we experienced in the past but, this night the place was empty which we find oddand awkward at the same time. Wish the chef was more funtalkative and perhaps the next time we willcall first to ensure Yogi is working. With this said, Yogisan is in a great location and we have always enjoyed in the past. I loved starting off with the warm towel. The sashimi and crunchy rolls were delicious, and I especially enjoyed the complimentary fruit!

Yojisan Sushi is conveniently located among numerous restaurants in Beverly Hills. The toro sashimi literally melted in my mouth.

Omakase with Yojisan, it should be Yojisama, is extraordinary. the dishes are beautiful; the flavors and textures mesh but do not collide. My son and I are long time fans long live Yoji sama
