Uncle's Caribbean Cuisine - Bethlehem

Fantastic Jamaican cuisine! I discovered Uncle's while searching on Google Maps during my extended stay in the Allentown area. It's a small takeout spot located about 15 minutes from the airport. I decided to try the curry chicken (I typically evaluate Jamaican restaurants based on the quality of their curry and jerk chicken), which was served with stewed cabbage and rice and peas. Everything was absolutely delicious! I’m already looking forward to returning for the jerk chicken. I’ve tried many Caribbean restaurants, including a few in NYC, but none compare to Uncle's. It’s definitely worth a visit! Just a heads up: some dishes do take a little longer to prepare, so it’s a good idea to call ahead if you can.

The restaurant is never crowded when we visit. The food is phenomenal. It might be a bit pricey, but you’ll forget all about the cost because the dishes are that amazing.

Good food, clean, good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Get the jerk pork. You won’t be disappointed!!
