Bidrage med feedbackWe decided to try out a new restaurant that we noticed was quite busy on our drive past. Excited by the menu, which featured lots of new dishes to explore, we picked our order and placed it at 7:30 PM, expecting delivery in 45 minutes. However, after an hour with no food, we called and were told it was still being prepared and would arrive in 10 minutes. To make a long story short, after four phone calls and almost two and a half hours of waiting, the food finally arrived at 10 PM—cold, incorrect, and simply inedible. We were very disappointed.
After a chaotic first few weeks with numerous late orders, we have been ordering from Ali's weekly and have enjoyed excellent food each time. However, on Christmas Eve, we had the worst meal ever. The chicken tikka was dry, consisting of half a breast and half tough leg meat. The Madras was watery and contained only three pieces of chicken. The pasanda was an inedible mix of cream, sultanas, and chewy leg meat. The naan bread was dry and seemed like it was cooked yesterday. The poppadoms tasted like old oil and had red fingerprints on them, likely from the chicken tikka masala. What is going on with food businesses in this area? They wouldn't last two minutes in the Midlands.
