The dark lighting sets for a relaxing time food is in good taste and the service is excellent

Halibut dinner was had by my rep and he ste it with gusto. We had a cajun shrimp appetizer. We both had a great vegetable soup. I asked for the salsa and i kicked up the soup a notch. I had a caesar salad with grilled shrimp tasty, but dressing was nothing special. Really lacked anchovies.

This is a DARK bar. Don’t call it a Steak House and don’t call it Romantic. It s simply a very dark bar that serves food. Too bad. It was a nice place in the past.

Went in for dinner on a Thursday evening. Walked and noticed it was dimly lit and nicely decorated. Classy. I wasn't drinking tonight but the bar was well stocked. There was a man playing piano which was anice touch and created a unique and enjoyable atmosphere. I ordered the ribeye. It was perfect. The sautéed mushrooms. Top notch. Must be yhe best spot in Bakersfield. One thing I would recommend is for the head chef to revisit the bread serving. It's complimentary which is appreciated but the taste doesn't reflect the quality of the establishment. Aside from that I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
