The Point - Bend

Here are the updated hours from the restaurant, but it seemed like no one was there when I visited.

My partner and I stopped by this restaurant for lunch. We ordered the chicken Mac n cheese and the Philly sandwich. The menu offers a variety of flavor options for the side of fries that comes with the Philly, and they are all marked as vegan. I requested garlic fries but was informed that none of the fries, including plain, are vegan. My only option was sweet potato fries. The food arrived quicker than expected despite being told that the kitchen was running behind. The Philly sandwich consisted solely of sourdough bread with no filling. The "World Famous Vegan Macaroni and Cheese" was inedible. However, we enjoyed the sweet potato fries.

I was pleasantly surprised by the range of vegan options available at this restaurant. The Mac and cheese burger I ordered was a delightful unexpected treat.

The Point Pub offers a large, separate vegan menu, including tacos, burgers and wraps. I had the vegan Mac Daddy, a concoction made with a burger, onions, BBQ sauce and vegan mac and cheese. The fries choices including sweet potato fries,which I really enjoyed. Generous portions, lots of variety, but what impressed me was that the food was “ clean”, ie definitely made separately, quite a feat for a pub- grill type place.

Nothing special but a nice place to go with non-vegan family and get a drink. They have a whole vegan section of the menu which was really nice and the staff was accommodating
