Pastativo - Beachwood

I have special dietary needs and requested just two meatballs and some vegetables. They charged me $12 for this, and when I asked for a refund, they refused and insisted that I take the order. The manager was quite rude and handed me a card with a phone number that turned out to have a full mailbox. The meatballs arrived cold, and the vegetables were tough and unappetizing. I felt completely ripped off and will not be returning. I’m fortunate to have a job, but I just hope others don’t have to deal with bad food, poor service, and being overcharged.

The bowtie pasta was overcooked to the point that it fell apart when I tried to pick it up with a fork. The only thing holding it together was the paste-like Alfredo sauce and a large amount of congealed cheese. I asked for pesto and added Alfredo for an extra dollar, but there was no pesto included. I also ordered two Bosco sticks, which appeared to be completely cold and not heated at all. For my make-your-own salad, I chose various toppings, but they only included a few, and what they did add was spoiled and unpleasant. The spinach was wilted, and the diced cucumbers were slimy and translucent. On the bright side, they packed in a lot of stale, store-bought croutons, which was not appealing at all. I reached out to GrubHub for help, but they couldn't get Pasta Tivo to answer their calls. I also tried contacting the restaurant directly with no luck, so I left a voicemail about my experience. It's been four days, and I still haven't heard back. Overall, it was a terrible experience.

I'm so disappointed... this used to be a place of great deliciousness, but now it's just a source of sadness and letdown.

Overpriced for the serving size. Pasta was dry and undesirable. Mozzarella sticks were O.K...but overall not impressed!

Excellent food. I had the base penne with delicious meatballs and I was super impressed. The hard work and preparation shows in the final result. Good luck for you and maybe a food truck in Pittsburgh in the near future? Lol
