The Bayou Affect - Baton Rouge

Ordered paid for my food over the phone at 6:30. He let me know up front that there was a long wait of about 1 hour. That was at 6:30 it's 8:15 now no order. This is why I called it in to avoid waiting at the restaurant for over a hour I waited a full hour 10 minutes before I came to pick it up. 8:15 now still no food yet. I mean I just don't know what to say. Perhaps get more help in the kitchen because 2 hours is unacceptable I'm 45 years old have worked in the food industry never leave bad reviews. The guy was very nice did apologize to me.

The food was delicious!!..Gotta love Louisiana!!!…This is a black owned establishment The staff was very friendly and the food was made to order..I I ordered the Lamb chops and seafood potatoes, salmon bites , and lastly seafood egg rolls The lamb sauce was very delicious and compliments the food.

The red beans taste burnt with no flavor, and the rice was hard. The chicken was good and the service was too.

Great food . Excellent service. Eggrolls were fantastic. Lamb chops were even better. Definitely will be bck!

The food is delicious.Might be partly biased because I am starving. Don't go if you have to be somewhere. I ended up waiting 53 minutes for my food. At one point I asked if I could get my money back and so I could just grab something at the gas station and the guy vanished into the back and came back more than 10 minutes later with my food and a smile like everything was fine. Love the food. Will never be back.
