Cast & Crew Gastropub - Bathurst

Arrived right at 4:00 opening time. Nice atmosphere. Tasty but ridiculously small serving sizes and EXPENSIVE considering what you get. Won't go again. There's better in Bathurst.

This place is a gem..the decor is beautiful. the service was top notch.I wish I was more observant and gotten our servers name. we sat on the patio , July 28 we were celebrating a birthday. she wore glasses. she was wonderful.the food was superb. compliments to the chef. I had the fruit salsa salmon ,the salmon was cooked to perfection and the veggies were tasty. cheesecakes was also delicious. we will definitely return when coming back to bathhurst.also loved the name of the restaurant. very catchy.

I don’t normally write reviews but this was so bad I felt I had to. I asked tripadvisor for the best steakhouse in Bathurst and this place was the only one that came up. Asked two family members who are locals if it was good and got affirmation that although expensive it was the best in town. We had 18:30 reservations for 4. We arrived the place was full and had a good vibe. We were seated promptly and within 5 minutes were offered drinks. We ordered some mussels and when asked if we wanted to order dinner we deferred saying we weren’t in a rush. In hind site what a mistake!!! The mussels came out in the next 10 minutes, we ordered our mains and 15 minutes later were informed it would be an hour until our mains could be served. 2 hours and 15 minutes after our arrival our $300 dinner showed up. 2 of the 3 steaks were overcooked. The waitress was close to tears… We asked to speak to a manager, there wasn’t one on site or available by phone. We tipped the waitress payed the bill and left vowing to never return.

The main food options we received were fine tasting, slight pricey. Our appetizer was very average and very overpriced. But mainly we walked into the restaurant at 12:30 and received our food at 1:40. I did not mind a wait but that is way over the top on waiting. Had to hunt someone down after 15 minutes to get a beverage, not our actual server. So I would say if time does not matter than it is fine to eat at.

I had the wings and steak tacos, they were absolutely delicious.
