Figaro's Pizza - BASKING RIDGE

You can't go wrong here! Both the restaurant and the pizzeria are excellent! I've been a customer for almost 20 years and Cafe Figaro never disappointed! Everything is homemade and the owners Eddie and Frank will make sure you have a great meal and experience!

I visited Figaro's this evening and, as locals, we have primarily ordered pizza from here in the past. However, this time we decided to dine in the restaurant, and it was fantastic. The staff was friendly, attentive, and laid-back. We were even able to order off the menu, and my steak (as shown in the picture) was cooked perfectly to my request of well done, with no pink. The seafood was fresh, not frozen, and the table bread was warm and delicious. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!

Try Cafe Figaro! I found Figaros a few months ago. I have been back many times since. First of all, they always make me feel welcome. It is obvious that they really want every customer to have an exceptional experience. Secondly, there is the food. I bet most people mention this first, and who would blame them. Everything I have eaten here is fresh, delicious, and well prepared. Try the Eggplant Rollatini, the Pasta Rapa, and the Veal Verona (a few of my favorites), but I have enjoyed every dish that I have tried. The pizza is also excellent and you can get everything to go!

I like it, don't love it. The food was a little spicy. The main waiting had no personality. We had the fried Calamri, which was perfectly fried and the severity (Marinara for the non-ethnic people) was fresh and a little sharp, tasty. The Pesto Risotto was well seasoned (the only dish), but it was just a hair under, not so much that we would send it back. The Veal Scalopini with shrimp was just ok. Veggies well boiled, you can not ruined potatoes the sauce and the calfs under seasoned and blazed. I'd say I like it more than I didn't like it. I will try again, but would not recommend it yet.

This is AMAZING authentic Italian cuisine. This place was accidentally, the best accident. The food is fresh and tasty and the service is first class. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you were in the mood for great Italian cuisine and even better service.
