Popped in for a couple of drinks. Had the rose prosecco which was gorgeous, looked at the menu and decided to stay for our evening meal, ordered a selection of food all of which was lovely. It was quiet due to it being a Tuesday so very relaxed and no rush, afterwards we had another bottle in the bar. Very pleasant evening

Really enjoyed my fish and chips. Cocktails were also good. Servers all polite. One of the nicer establishments in barrow in Furness.

Firstly our starters arrived and one of the Vegan starters were still frozen!. Then I was given a dirty fork, I asked for some clean cutlery which was replaced with another dirty fork, she then replaced it with a clean folk no napkin or knife. When we received our mains, one of the party was still eating her starter and they tried to give her the main. I had spaghetti and meatballs when I cut into the first meatball it was still RAW! Which is major worrying especially being heavily pregnant. One main didn’t turn up, then we were told the pizza wasn’t cooked properly and the middle had fallen out. When the pizza finally arrived, that wasn’t cooked in the middle either! And then finally one of the party started to have a reaction to ingesting gluten even though she ordered from the gluten free menu the food must have contained gluten or was contaminated. We asked to speak to a manager and was told one wasn’t available. The member of staff dealing with the complaint wasn’t very apologetic and made my friend having a reaction feel alienated in the way it was dealt with. Very poor customer service! We was told we didn’t have to pay which was probably to silence us. it completely ruined our night we was told a kitchen manager would contact us on Sunday or Monday which still hasn’t happened. Disgusting!

Visited Sat night with my husband for a date night . I Have eaten here before a few times and its been ok . However, last night was very poor and so will not be returning nor recommending. When ordering food the waitress was so quick to leave the table, my husband hadn’t managed to finish ordering an item so had to get up and chase her to finish placing his order. I specifically asked for my fillet steak, med to well no blood. After a lengthy wait the food arrived , mine was so bloody in the middle it was rare , had to send it back . By the time it was returned my husband had almost finished his meal even tho he ate slowly as we went for a meal to eat together . On eventually returning my meal the waitress just dumped it down and said here you are , it returned with no chips so i then had to ask for some . By now my husband had finished his food so we both ate alone. The place was very noisy, some girls were screeching near the bar area, nobody bothered. the bar staff and waiting staff were very busy interacting and chatting with each other at the end of the bar rather than focussing on good customer service . I literally couldn’t wait to get out of there. When paying the we were asked if everything was ok. I could t be bothered to respond with the complaint as it had been very obvious to some staff it was not ok as my empty space and lengthy wait were observed by another waiter . All in all a ruined meal and a waste of money

Visited for 2 nights, lovely room although being on front of the building very noisy from the street below so can’t have the windows open. Was very warm in the room definitely needed a lighter duvet but very clean and tidy. We ate downstairs both nights and can’t fault the food. Drinks/cocktails were amazing and the members of staff A*. Would definitely come back :
