Honest pub grub at a reasonable price and it was hot. What more could you want for a pub lunch. Service was good and it was pretty busy too. Would happily eat here again.

The food at this restaurant is simple but enjoyable, with limited homemade options on the menu. The atmosphere and service are good, and the prices are reasonable. However, after visiting multiple times over the past 18 months, I believe the menu could use some refreshing. It has remained the same each time with little variety, especially on the dessert menu. It would be beneficial to offer lighter options as the current choices are heavy and dense, not appealing to everyone after a main meal. I recently tried the toffee crunch pie, but unfortunately, it lacked the promised crunchiness and seemed a bit stale. On a positive note, they have made improvements to the outdoor seating area this year, which provides a pleasant dining experience.

Absolutely love this place , beer garden is great , staff are really friendly and the food is great , we don't live too far and whenever the sun is out we love to sit out with an ice cold beer.

I have been to this restaurant several times for meals and quizzes, but the roast dinner served on Sundays is particularly outstanding. The portion sizes are available in small, medium, and large. Additionally, the sticky toffee dessert is the best I have ever tasted.

Used to go here regularly for the excellent quality of thier ribeye. No longer on the menu but was told by the waiter the sirloin was excellent. It wasnt. Ordered it medium rare. No sear and completely unseasoned. Overcooked on one side and raw on the other. Bleeding on my plate so obviously not rested (not that would have made any difference). Poor quality chewy meat badly cooked. Total waste of money. Can't believe how much this place has deteriorated
