Tiffins Curry In A Hurry - Barrie

The food at this restaurant was amazing and the staff were incredibly accommodating. Most of the menu options appeared to be gluten-free. They even offered gluten-free flatbread made with garlic butter just for our group, which was a unique and delicious touch.

The fantastic owners are incredibly helpful in identifying which menu items are gluten-free. They even offer gluten-free naan bread! They are also accommodating to other allergies and can accommodate vegan and vegetarian diets as well.

I ate there a couple of times and always enjoyed the taste of the food, although I was disappointed in how small the portions were especially for the cost

Spicy, Spicy so nice. My wife loves to have spicy hot foods, especially curry. Tiffin's came through 100%. The cuisine was delicious, creatively present and crowd pleasing. My family enjoyed the exotic dishes and devoured each with a thirst for more. An excellent experience for all.

Having a hankering for Indian food, we decided to go to a Trip Advisor fave and were greatly disappointed. Being a non-Indian couple, we ordered their special. We asked the server for the level of spice intensity and were assured that it would be okay "for us". It was not. The lentil soup was served lukewarm and sludge-like. The apps were obviously old. The main was also cold and bland. Wow -- what a let down. Plus the prices were the most expensive that we've experienced for Indian food in Barrie. The sauce for the curry dish was from a bottle (for sure). It tasted "processed". Overall, we give it a huge fail. WE were highly disappointed and will never be back... What a shame!
