The Meltdown Grilled Cheese And Tap Room

This restaurant is the perfect spot for comfort food! I stopped by for takeout while I was in the area for showings. I enjoyed a local beer while waiting for my meal and had a pleasant chat with the gentleman sitting next to me, who turned out to be the owner's son! The staff is fantastic; the owner took care of me the entire time and was extraordinarily kind and accommodating. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the food is scrumptious. Be sure to check them out!

My girlfriend and I recently dined at this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. We started with the Capri salad to share, and for our main courses, my girlfriend ordered the lobster grilled cheese while I opted for the chicken parm grilled cheese. The quality and flavor of the food were incredible—it's like stepping into your grandmother's house during the holidays, with the delightful aromas of baked goods and turkey filling the air! Decadent, delicious, and divine are just a few words that come to mind. The owner was fantastic, sharing the story behind the restaurant's beginnings and making us feel right at home. Despite the place being busy, we didn't have to wait for a table, though I would gladly wait any amount of time for a meal here. If you haven't been yet, you absolutely need to try this place! It's superb!

We were delighted to discover how lovely this restaurant truly is. Initially, we expected a rundown, fast-service place, but instead we found a warm atmosphere in a charming old house, beautifully decorated with modern touches. They offer a selection of beer and wine along with gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. My husband appreciated that they had gluten-free bread, allowing him to enjoy a grilled cheese too. He opted for the Philly version while I chose the buffalo chicken. It turned out to be a wonderful spot—cozy, inviting, and very family-friendly.

The Meltdown always impresses! They serve the best poutine outside of Montreal, with fantastic grilled cheese options to choose from. The service and ambiance are excellent as well! If I could give more than five stars, I definitely would! Parking is also a breeze.
