Bidrage med feedbackDuring my visit to Barnsley around 11 AM, the place was quite busy. There were three staff members working hard behind the counter to manage the queue, and I was served fairly quickly. My drinks were hot, and the toasties were also served piping hot. The only thing I would suggest is that an extra pair of hands would have been helpful for clearing the trays left on the tables. Overall, it was a good visit.
The customer service was extremely poor; there were no greetings or any form of acknowledgment. They didn't even make eye contact with me.
I had a couple of drinks and toasties here today, and just a few minutes after arriving, I noticed a girl behind the counter repeatedly shouting for Sarah. I have to give a shout-out to Sarah, who was assigned at least fifteen different tasks while we were there. She was clearing tables, making a Mango Cooler, restocking the fridge, washing plates, and serving customers. Wow! Keep smiling, Sarah; you're doing an amazing job!
It was a good experience. I usually take my granddaughters with me, but this Thursday I went alone and felt comfortable.
This restaurant is a lovely stop between shopping and visits to the library or museum. I enjoyed a coffee and a small bag of delicious mini muffins while sitting outside in the sunshine. I only found out there was a restroom on the ground floor after I had climbed the impressively long stairs to the one on the first floor—so impressive that I even took a photo of it! However, the leaking tap up there definitely needs some attention.
