Market Cafe - Bald Knob

First of all the staff was very nice. I ordered the Ruben, with fries and a sweet tea. The tea was great as well as the fries. The Ruben on the other hand was the worst I ever had, and I knew after one bite. I’m usually easy on food, but there is too much room for improvement here.

Excellent breakfast. Biscuits, gravy, and ham are so good. Everyone I was with loved it.

BAD BUSINESS ETHICS!!! Went there with my mother for her birthday, the family box of catfish was 1695. I asked the lady do you not have a smaller plate she says yes we do, did not think to ask how much so my sister and I proceeded to order 24 piece catfish dinners got to the register to check out and it was 1595 for the small plate of catfish when the family dinner was 1695. When I told the lady that doesn’t make sense we should’ve got just the family meal. Why didn’t she explain it to us and she goes well I should’ve explained it to y’all. She did not offer to, reduce the price or offer us more fish because she did not explain the difference between the small plate and the big plate or did not attempt at all to offer good customer service with paying patrons! We WILL NOT BE BACK!

Classic diner GREAT breakfast. I had the BEST breakfast ham of my life. Super tender and flavorful. Hometown feel.

The portions are not much considering cost. The daily special was a meat and one vegetable. And you don’t have a choice of vegetables.
