Hacienda Authentic Mexican Food

Carolinas is great to eat, had the red chili buritto, it was very tasty, big. Also tried the green chili tamal, and to finish I also had the butter tortilla as the icing on the cake. Would recommend this restaurant to any Mexican food lover. The prices are great what you can ask.

This location is just as fantastic as all the others. Be sure to order your mashed tortillas separately, or else your food might sit there for 20 minutes while they take their time making the tortillas, which only take 30 seconds each. That being said, it’s still my favorite Mexican restaurant in the valley. I recommend the #4 Green with an additional beef taco on the side—you won't be disappointed!

I absolutely love Carolinas! This new location is always busy, but they are doing a fantastic job so far. However, I noticed that their menu differs from the combo numbers at other locations, which was a bit confusing. For instance, I sent my son to order my chorizo con papas, thinking it was #13 on the online menu for South Phoenix, but it turned out to be #6 here! Despite the mix-up, I really enjoyed my meal. It was quite a hefty portion, so my son ended up enjoying it even more than I did! I'm so glad to have this place in the neighborhood!

We arrived just 10 minutes before closing and were warmly welcomed by Angela. The customer service here was exceptional. Even knowing they were closing soon, she took the time to provide us with several excellent ordering suggestions. By the way, the atmosphere was lovely. Melissa cleaned the soda area but was kind enough to help me get a drink right after she finished. Both ladies were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We're already looking forward to our next visit. In addition to the fantastic service, our food was absolutely delicious. Thank you, ladies, for a wonderful experience!

Food was awesome! Don't go when you're very hungry because everything sounds good. Ordered 2 Oaxaca special and 2 red beef burros. Also ordered 2 beef and two potato tacos and 1 dozen flour tortillas. Could not make up my mind, that is why I ordered so much. The 2 red burros, I deep fried the next day for dinner. Service was great and staff friendly and courteous. Burros are huge and very good!
