My only minor criticism is that it took a bit of time for the food to be prepared. However, I’d much prefer to wait for freshly made dishes rather than receive food that has been sitting around. Overall, it was a nice afternoon. The atmosphere at this Mugg Bean was enjoyable.

Mugg & Bean has long been a dominant player in the Joburg coffee scene. While they've faced some competition lately from Seattle and others, their pastries and drinks remain impressive. According to my parents, their coffee is excellent, and they offer a delightful assortment of lemonades, juices, and milkshakes. I highly recommend Mugg & Bean if you’re looking for bottomless hot chocolate or a triple shot of espresso.

The aroma of their freshly baked treats is simply delightful, and they look even more tempting! I've never experienced a bad cup of coffee or a disappointing meal here. It's such a charming spot, although it does overlook a parking lot, which is a shame. The food is consistently fantastic, and the service is quick. It's definitely a place worth stopping by!

Average experience this morning at M&B. Service was pretty slow and breakfast took a while to come out, despite it being closer to the end of their breakfast service when the place had emptied. We asked for soft poached for both eggs bennedicts but unfortunately they arrived more on the hard side and the hollandaise lacked favour : coffees were yummy though.

This is the best M&B in Jhb. The place hums. The service is great and the food is consistently good. M& B. I generally don't like franchises but the 1st M&B at the V&A Waterfront was a game changer a few decades back their bottomless coffee and giant muffins, the deli style menu a great destination. This M&B is the best.
