Bidrage med feedbackFor our main courses, I had tandoori chicken with fries, while my wife opted for chicken in a coconut and cumin sauce. Both dishes were great, although my tandoori chicken was extremely spicy (my mistake for not ordering it at medium heat), so I could only finish half of it. We had a wonderful time, but when the bill came, the drink prices dampened the experience. R32 for a Windhoek Light?! Seriously? Restaurant owners need to understand that people are tired of paying exorbitant prices for drinks. And let's get rid of the corkage fee, shall we? I can assure you that in the future, we will choose restaurants that don’t charge corkage. That said, if we find ourselves craving curry in the middle of winter, I might give this place another shot, but I definitely won’t be ordering any beers!
For curry, this place is unbeatable. The food is truly delicious, the service is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is enjoyable, all at a great value. I highly recommend it. We ordered the lamb korma, which was flavorful without being too spicy. The management was attentive without being overbearing.
Our favorite Indian restaurant in Johannesburg never disappoints! The service is always excellent, and the spicy food is incredible. Their curries are outstanding, and I can't get enough of the garlic naan bread!
Still the best curry in Joburg if not in Mzansi! I had an excellent Chicken Korma and my companion was more than satisfied with his Lamb Keema Masala. Service was excellent as always. Feels like coming home and Ghazal Bryanston never fails to satisfy.
OK but still not great. A big improvement on a couple of months ago when the curries were very salty and short on meat. Starters are decent though.
