Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant is unmatched when it comes to curry. The food is exceptional, the service is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is enjoyable—all at great prices. I highly recommend it. We tried the lamb korma, which was flavorful and not too spicy. The management was attentive without being intrusive.
Our favorite Indian restaurant in Johannesburg! The service is always excellent, and the spicy food is fantastic. Their curries are absolutely incredible, especially when paired with my favorite garlic naan bread.
For the main course, I had tandoori chicken with fries, while my wife opted for chicken in a coconut and cumin sauce. Both dishes were delicious, although my tandoori chicken was overwhelmingly spicy (my own fault for not choosing a medium spice level), so I could only finish half of it. We enjoyed our time there, but the bill really took away from the experience due to the drink prices. R32 for a Windhoek Light? Seriously? Restaurant owners need to understand that customers are tired of being overcharged for drinks. And let’s talk about that corkage fee – I can assure you that we will be more inclined to choose restaurants that don’t impose corkage charges in the future. That said, if we find ourselves craving curry in the dead of winter, we might give this place another shot, but I’ll definitely be skipping the beers.
Still the best curry in Joburg if not in Mzansi! I had an excellent Chicken Korma and my companion was more than satisfied with his Lamb Keema Masala. Service was excellent as always. Feels like coming home and Ghazal Bryanston never fails to satisfy.
OK but still not great. A big improvement on a couple of months ago when the curries were very salty and short on meat. Starters are decent though.
