Golden Fleece - Asheville

WOW! How have we lived in Asheville and not discovered Golden Fleece until now? You must try the pimento cheese, sweet potato bourbon mash, steak, and the chocolate mousse! We visited just as concerns about the Coronavirus were increasing, so the restaurant was quite empty. The staff was attentive, friendly, funny, and very diligent about their cleaning routine. I highly recommend it!

One of my new go-to spots for lunch and dinner! The trio dip appetizer was delicious and just right for sharing between two people. The Caesar salad, topped with fresh white anchovies on bib lettuce, was also fantastic. The salmon was light and cooked to perfection. I've tried their flatbread pizza as well; it's crispy and just the right size. They have a nice selection of cocktails and wines. I'm definitely a fan!

We had a wonderful lunch for two! Our friendly server was knowledgeable about the menu and provided helpful explanations and suggestions when we asked. We ordered our entrees, but I noticed another table sharing several dishes, which I would love to try during my next visit. The charming, sunlit room further added to our enjoyable experience!

This is my go-to spot for Mediterranean cuisine. The prices were standard for the menu offerings.

It's a decent spot for quality Mediterranean cuisine. The service was quick, efficient, and friendly. The ambiance is quite pleasant. The menu reminds me of a café in Indianapolis that I really enjoyed.
