Brando's - Asbury Park

Our experience tonight was terrific! I had made a reservation for a party of 6, with a note that we had to be out in 90 minutes to see a longtime friend perform at the Stone Pony. I received a call from the restaurant to confirm the day before, expressing concern that 90 minutes wouldn't be enough time for us to enjoy the dining experience of their restaurant. That alone was impressive, but the food was even better than that. My wife and friends each had salads and glasses of wine for starters. My buddy Brian ordered a personal pizza that he loved, his wife Peg seemed more than satisfied with her lobster ravioli. My wife Donna said her chicken piccata was the best she's had in years, while I went old school Italian with meatballs and pasta. As the four of us are pretty discerning when it comes to Italian food, I can tell you that Brando's is as fine a dining establishment as you will find... Not just in Asbury Park, but anywhere! We'll be back!

Our go-to spot! The Angry Lobster is amazing—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is always friendly.
