The Manor House - Argyll Square, Oban

The hotel is charming, featuring cozy rooms, stunning views, and a lot of character. The restaurant appeared inviting and had an incredible aroma, although we didn't dine there. However, what truly made our stay memorable during our Scottish vacation was the wonderful staff. We had such an enjoyable evening chatting and laughing while learning about whiskies and local gins with David, who effortlessly moved between serving guests and keeping us entertained with his humor and countless recommendations. Cheers to David—he's a true professional. We also want to thank Steven, who was equally delightful to talk to and provided fantastic, knowledgeable suggestions for making the most of our remaining time in Scotland. Keep up the excellent work and the fun atmosphere, gentlemen. If you find yourself in Oban, be sure to stay at the Manor House and take the time to connect with the outstanding staff at the bar and restaurant. You won’t regret it!

The restaurant boasts a lovely and cozy interior, and its location is excellent. It takes just a comfortable 10-minute walk to reach the center of Oban. The staff throughout the establishment are very friendly, with particular praise for the two gentlemen at the reception/bar. Overall, I would rate the rooms a 5, the service a 5, and the location a 5.

Superb authentic hotel with a magnificent view of Oban which is in the immediate vicinity. It is also possible to have a drink at the very cozy bar or to have lunch at the restaurant. I recommend without hesitation. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
